Today is the first day of winter in the northern hemisphere -- so Happy Winter Solstice and Joyous Yule to everyone! That's as close to holiday cheer as I plan to get this year. But at least this is a smaller and kinder version of the holiday madness that will soon overwhelm us all (if it hasn't already).

Finals week is over, and that means that Fall Semester is over, too! Yay! I have three whole weeks off, and I'm already enjoying it. I got a 4.0 this semester, so the hard work paid off and my admission to KSBI will be official in just a few days. I feel closer to a degree already! ^_^

The overtime at work is good money, but the combination of getting up at 3:30 in the morning and then staying to work a 10 to 12 hour shift is getting pretty tiring pretty quickly. I'm trying not to complain, though. Considering that just three months ago, I was facing another round of cutbacks and couldn't work enough hours to pay the bills, this is a better problem to have! I still like the new job, and I like the people even more than I did at first, so this is proving to be a very good move for me.

I'm so glad that the big snow missed Indy. I'm sorry for all of you on the East Coast who got slammed with so much snow, but I'm glad that I should be able to safely make my travels this week. Hopefully, the East Coast will be dug out in time for holiday travels, too!

Lamb by Christopher Moore is both heretical and hysterically funny! I stumbled across this book while looking for something else entirely at Amazon, and since so many people said that it was the funniest book ever, I decided that I needed to check it out. I'm only 100 pages in, and it really is incredibly funny. Heretical, as I mentioned, but well-written and painfully funny. I recommend it as long as your religious beliefs can stand a little good-natured heresy.

I can tell that the end of the year is almost here. I'm feeling a little reflective tonight. So I think I'm going to light some more incense and stare at the ceiling for a while. Taking stock, finding my center, trying not to fall asleep before dinner -- however you want to look at it.

today is the first day in my semester holiday....
I have planned to hang out with my mates,,,
but before that I have to go to campus first....
submitting the very last assignment,,hehehee....well not bad....

and then we are going to eat somewhere outhere....hahahha
spending time with mates, being crazy together is nice y'know....
and do gossip....waw!!!hell yeah!!!!agagagagaagagg....

hmm,,christmas is almost coming....
can't wait to meet that,,my family will gath and we'll have good ime together...
although there is one of my family who is annoying others,just take that as dust...
